From the Manufacturer...
The DD2 Frenzy is currently the farthest flying Discmania brand driver and is possibly the longest flying Innova disc made! This disc offers tremendous speed combined with good glide and great control! This disc is a hybrid of Innova’s Katana and Boss. You get the best of both in the DD2! Give it try - you’ll probably reach distances you’ve never reached before.

A lot like what @Photo Joe said– DD2 is capable of some HUGE distance but you really have to throw it right even in the C-line plastic just seems to be slightly more stable or faster flying. Nice forward finishing hyzer and on one of the first throws I had with it easily went by 330′.. was a blind shot slight hyzer and the DD2 appeared to fade off into the woods but after searching for a few minutes I noticed it right up next to the pin. Similar to a stable Katana or Groove which both also have inconsistency issues (expected from an Innova Company….) Not for beginners or the weak armed.

When Discmania hit the scene, I was all about trying their new line of discs (some of which came from Innova) and my very first purchase was the DD2 Frenzy!
This is a long disc and has a little groove set on top of it, which I just assumed helped it with aerodynamics, but now I feel like it probably helps it turn over. The Frenzy is a beast of a disc and you have to tame it! My first experience with it was on a windy day and I felt like it had a mind of it’s own. One throw it would turn over to much and roll on the ground and the next throw it would barely flatten out. I had to be very accurate on my throws, but when I was dead on, it flew further then any disc in my bag!
Unfortunately, the disc has become a love/ hate relationship with me and I find myself leaning to an Innova Boss instead. I have not thrown this disc in the new C-plastic and I’m sure that would probably make a big difference, but in the P-plastic mold, it feels like it’s all over the place. I would recommend leaving this in your bag on a windy day and letting it rock on a day with absolutely no wind at all!
Throw it right and it will go farther than any other disc in your bag!
I would probably recommend going with a stronger plastic mold than the P-plastic.

Nice flying, pretty straight. I threw this in a field with a Flick and a Slayer for comparison. It isn’t as over-stable as a Flick (nothing is!). It flies similar to the Slayer, but it’s much more consistent with a sidearm release. If released flat, I was getting about 200ft before it faded out, but with a little hyzer on release, I was pushing 300, but it didn’t need a wide fairway for the flight path. Tight “S” curve with a bunch of glide.
