The Nate Doss Signature X Avenger is a maximum distance driver that can be used by ams and pros alike, and helped Nate Doss to win the 2005 Pro World Championships. You can throw it anhyzer and it will slowly fade back to a hyzer. Throw it flat and it holds a straight, extra long flight line.

  1. Solid slower controllable max distance driver able to fly on many different lines and featured in all molds of plastic as well as some 150 class discs. Not the longest flying max distance drivers of the Discraft line-up but a great all-around disc for players looking to move up in speed and stability with a beginner version in the SS mold. Below are some of the opinions from Discraft pro’s who throw this disc.

“I use the Avenger a lot for long range, stable drives. I can really reach back and throw this one hard with confidence, and it goes a mile. If you’re facing light to moderate headwinds, I would highly recommend the Avenger.”
    -Nathan Doss, World Champion

“The Avenger IS my go-to disc. The consistency and distance are undeniable, this disc makes the magic happen. Beat it in for a month and it’s bread and butter! Avenger could be the best driver ever made.”
    -Gregg Barsby

“The Avenger has taken over in my bag for most shots out on the course. My distance ranges from 375 – 400 feet with the Avenger. I reach for it for most long distance shots, whether it be wide open or in the woods for touch shots. Pick one up and you will be buying a stack!”
    -Brad Schick

  2. Wonderful workhorse driver along the lines of OLF and PD. Longer than traditional fairway drivers like Teebird, but shorter than actual distance drivers. Many prefer Avengers in X-plastic. They beat into beautiful hyzerflip discs and have better glide than other plastics. ESP and Z are more stable than the X, but ESP gets beat faster. Thrown hard and flat they fly straight with a healthy fade. As they beat in, the fade gets further delayed. Very decent in fighting winds.
    Summa summarum: Eggcellente!!
