This is a great neutral putter if you’re coming from an ultimate or freestyle background or if you just like neutral putters. It’s a little slower and less glidey than an APX but it has the same straight fall that helps guarantee that while you may miss high or low, you’ll almost never fly by left or right. I’ve also found (and this has been said by other people I’ve let try it on the course) that it seems to really want to stay in the basket. You don’t get a lot of spit-outs with this putter.
Cons: It has a pretty blunt profile that makes it a little tougher to use in the wind for people who aren’t used to throwing lids in the wind. It’s also not the best driving putter out there. I carry a challenger for longer approaches.
It also has a really thick rim that some people think feels weird. I think it feels awesome and that it helps keep my release more consistent since it never snags on my knuckles.
Highly recommended. Best “True Putter” I’ve ever tried.
