From the Manufacturer...

The Gateway Demon is an extremely overstable midrange driver. One of the most overstable golf discs currently in production, the Demon will hold its line into any wind. It is a very fast flyer with an extremely hard finish to the left making it as predictable as any disc on the market. When thrown flat it will finish with a strong left fade, a hyzer line will give a sweeping arc path that will knife into the ground. A solid disc for strong fade shots, skip shots, and sidearm hyzers… when you absolutely need to get up and down, the Demon is the disc!

  1. Great overstable mid, one of gateway’s best discs. I carry older models in a plastic similar to kc pro, and I always keep a new evolution one in my bag. It is the best super stable mid on the market, beating the drone and gator. They get great skips and are super consistent.

  2. This is a great long mid/short fairway type driver for people with a ton of snap or those who want an overstable mid-driver.

I use the demon for a variety of roles, the most common of which is a longish approach where a fairway would be overkill and a short mid like a gator would leave you with a long putt.

The demon is a very skippy disc so you really need to know your terrain and adjust accordingly.

This disc also excels in short distance, get out of trouble spike hyzers.

I use an oldschool prototype model and it is not quite as stable as the newer ones so lately mine is used for straight approaches as well, it has finally had the fade beat out of it.

This is a good general purpose/slight specialty disc, hence the 4 stars.
