From the Manufacturer...
The Beast was issued in the era of the wide rimmed driver. The Beast was an instant classic when it was released; giving players more distance using less power. The Beast’s high glide, high speed and high speed turn all combine to give big distance. It is suitable for beginners and pros alike. The Champion Beast is endorsed by two-time World Champion Barry Schultz.

The best disc that I have found to flick. Gets long distance with minimal effort. Great first driver

Stable to understable distance driver with nice glide and wider rim for large hands. Start out slightly over-stable when new and will break-in to become understable and a nice turn-over disc. First driver we ever threw 300′+ after moving up from the DX teebird, viper and skeeter. Was the “go-to” driver for a long time and now a nice used one flies like a longer sidewinder or XL for those deep anhyzer shots.

The Beast is often cited as a good disc for beginners. It should be duly noted, however that this is not a disc for rank amateurs. It is a good “next level” disc after players have outgrown more understable discs such as the Avenger SS or Sidewinder. It is very much like a Valkyrie with a little more speed.

This disc is a favorite where ever I go. It seems to be the one disc that almost every new player seems to be using. (with little or no success)
I give this disc only 3 stars because with my arm speed I can’t seem to get the distance that I can with a Sidewinder. But there are DG’ers out there that swear by this disc.
I would suggest finding a friend to try this one out before buying one.
