From the Manufacturer...

The Cheetah is a great driver for throwing straight long shots at any skill level. It is a very versatile disc that is predictably stable at lower speeds and will turnover slightly at higher speeds. It is an excellent disc choice for younger disc golfers.

  1. The Cheetah is probably the best driver for any beginner. I used a DX 175g Cheetah when I first started playing, and I loved that disc. Excellent disc for getting big D on a high speed hyzer flip and makes a great roller for more advanced players, as well as making for a very nice, straight flying first driver for beginners.

At lower speeds, the Cheetah makes a huge helix, but it’s always predictable.

I currently use an 11x KC 148g Pro Champion XG Cheetah. For low speed throws, it is very similar to a DX Cheetah, as it does make a big helix. For high speed throws, this is a great turnover disc and it is incredibly straight. The light weight makes it fly effortlessly. I particularly like how it has a tendency to pop up on one side and roll a bit when it lands at the end of drives.

  2. Need a first driver? Cheetah is a great choice. Nice helix shots for less powered and developed players with ability to be super straight thrown on a hyzer flip and also holds a good anhyzer line one broken-in. Many beginners SHOULD use this disc and advanced players also for those times you need a disc that will go further with less effort and always be consistent on those “off” days. Not on of the fastest discs but can handle some good snap and has nice distance potential with the solid glide.

  3. The Cheetah is a great disc for players who don’t have “Pro” distance. When new, the DX Cheetah is a stable disc that will turn a little for a 250′ throw. When beat up and used, it’s a great hyzer-flip disc, roller or turning disc for those medium arms.
Great driver for females and new players.
The 10x KC Pro has a new-like flight pattern for much longer, and an 11x KC Pro is the most stable Cheetah out there.
