Good beginner and low power control driver popular with many advanced players. Very straight flying disc with nice glide and able to hold whatever line you put it on. Easy turn-over disc and wooded course driver. If you need a solid first disc the Leopard is a great start. Full range of plastics and weights also are a good plus with champion and star being slightly more stable than the Pro and DX.

The Star Leopard is one of the most consistent beginner discs that I see in the bags of advanced players. The Leopard is one of the most recommended discs that a new player should have.
When you need to throw 200′-250 straight down a tight wooded lane this is the disc for you.
It will tail off a little sharp compared to a Glide or Comet but it’s easy to get a straight or anhyzer shot with this disc.

The leopard is one of the easiest disc to throw. You dont need to throw it too hard to get it straight. I use my champ leopards for long late turnovers, straight low ceiling shots, and high swooping hyzers. It does it all. Get to know it and you will save yourself unneeded strokes.
