The Mako is our straightest flying and straightest finishing mid-range disc. It has the flight characteristic of a putter, with the glide and speed of a mid-range disc. A great performing disc that can take and hold the angle of release. Turnover shots stay turned over and hyzer shots stay hyzer. Excellent for staying on narrow fairways and threading through forests. The Mako is available in our premium Star plastic for durability and grip. In weights from 165 to 180 grams.

Super straight midrange with nice glide. Rounded rim with similar feel to a putter. Mako is one of the newer Innova midrange molds in a already very saturated market of great straight midranges and reliable discs. Not our favorite and would suggest other discs which are just as straight but even more reliable and higher quality design from a Buzzz to Axis or of course if sticking strictly to Innova molds then a Roc. Much like a faster Aero/Dart and even some people use the Mako to putt.

I have a new saying on the disc golf course… When you’re in trouble (or not) you better get “Mako”. I absolutely love this disc! No other disc keeps a line and finishes without any fade. It’s so straight, it puts the Innova Shark, Roc, and Discmania MD1 to shame. All of these discs will turn at the end as they are dying down, but the Mako stays straight.
I throw the Mako in Star plastic at a weight of 177g.
You can launch this disc and watch it go to almost 300ft easy. The only drawback I could see, is if you depend on a fade at the end, you are going to miss your target to the right, because it doesn’t fade. I threw the shark for a long time, until I lost it in a lake and that led me to purchase the Mako and I never looked back.
Trust me, if you want a straight disc, look no further. Nothing will be more straight and more dependable in your bag.
