From the Manufacturer...
The Max is a fast stable driver. It is much like a faster Firebird or Monster. It is a great disc for forehand drives. Backhand throwers can use it for anhyzer flex shots and spike hyzer throws. The Max is predictable and dependable into the wind. The Max is designed for more experienced players with powerful backhands or sidearm throwers.

When i rely on a disc as much as the max I have a hard time not rating it a 5*.
I have thrown side arm most of my disc golf years and for the first 5 i used a monster as my primary and over-stable driver. the max truly make the monster obsolete.
spikes line drives(with hard fade) hyzers and anything you need to fad hard(low carry from lack of glide) and consistently.
My favorite use is on holes 290-340ft and that have a need for a hard fade at the end ie long fairway with basket tucked 20-50 feet like an L shape. I throw it low and hard and it flies flat and straight and when it slows it makes a sharp fade to the left or right rhbh rhfh . It also gets down to the ground fast due to the lack of glide which helps with placement.
wind under 20mph: the max stays true to flight
20-30 you truly feel this disc fight the wind
over 30+ mph it is still usable but like anything being batter it has a whole different flight but still the champion on a windy day
i carry 3 of the max at all times
one beat easy to get out there less windy day very straight long distances same slow speed drop to the ground.
Most commonly thrown One used but in good shape higher level of wind resistance more consistent fade
one almost new : middle finger to the wind or super hard fade grenades and spikes
this disc can be a side arm throwers dream. i do not suggest for any beginner or new players

My idea of a utility disc!! This disc works for rollers, thumbers, tommy’s, long fairway driver, crazy skips, and, ultimately, it’s designed as an off the tee driver!! It is my get out of trouble disc. For me, there is no such thing as too overstable and this isn’t called the Max for nothing!!

Very overstable driver great for headwinds and power players. Too over-stable for our liking with minimal glide but very predictable and nice sidearm disc. Avery Jenkins says that max is, “A very predicable, fast long range overstable driver. All the speed of a Xcaliber with a little more stability. I use this disc for long overstable drives and long range forehand drives, great in all wind conditions. It is designed for more experienced players with powerful backhands and sidearm throwers. It is the next stage in flight stability as it is more stable than the Xcaliber. Its a definite Professional Level Distance Driver.”
