The TeeBird is one of our most accurate and reliable fairway drivers. It has a combination of straight flight, high glide and good speed that make it accurate and long flying both upwind and downwind. It is a popular choice for pros including 12 time World Champion and Hall-of-Famer Ken Climo. The Teebird is very versatile driver; Excellent for pin-point accuracy, distance and sidearm.

only a great disc if you hunt down an older run, if you flip a teebird it doesn’t come back. No big deal with an 11x, but in new runs they are NOT 0 HSS like everbody claims.

My champion teebird was my first really overstable disc which i was able to truly learn how to hyzer flip and anhyzer with, since i cannot throw forehand consistently the later was a big improvement and helped my game alot… now with the little more power i have i have gotten to the point in which if i want i can bomb it on a hyzer flip, but normally i use this for a control disc down the fairway (hence fairway driver), the flights are very consistent and controllable… this was the first disc i was able to finally park holes at my home course, very wooded to say the least. I love my teebird and am so happy it founds it way into my bag as per anothers suggestion…
Hot debate. What do you think?

Favorite disc of all time. Champion plastic is my go-to, although I do have a beat to heck DX that glides forever if I hit the angle right. Unbelievably consistent and also very versatile. I use it for every under 350 ish and anything between anny to hyzer, sometimes even a thumber shot. As good as it gets.

The Teebird was the game changer for the 2000’s and continues to be a must have disc for all players. The Teebird was originally released in 1999 and is the brother disc to the Eagle. It has more glide and less fade than an Eagle out of the box and is debatably the straightest fairway driver in the game. It comes in every plastic you can think of making the Teebird one of the most popular and versatile disc’s in all of disc golf.
Out of the box the Teebird is slightly overstable with late minimal fade and great glide. As the disc beats in it will begin to lose its fade and become more stable to understable depending on the plastic and the amount of ware. The Teebird is a great disc for windy conditions and is very resistant to turning over. It can be a good beginner disc in lower weights but it is recommended for players who are able to hit at least 300’ with a slower driver such as a Gazelle or Leopard. Once you have decent form and arm speed the Teebird has the potential to hold almost any line it is put on. The diversity in plastic also allows players to carry multiple Teebirds in different stages of ware and plastic for a great variety of shot types.
DX Teebirds – Will beat in the fastest and become stable to understable depending on player ability. Lower weight DX Teebirds are a great first hyzer disc for new players and as their ability improves it will become a strait controllable fairway driver that is capable of lines well over 400’. The DX plastic aslo has the best glide IMO but the newer DX plastic does not hold up very well in rocky or heavily wooded course.
Pro & KC Pro Teebirds – These are my favorite kind of Teebirds because of the feel and durability of the plastic. They will hold up for a long time and become straighter as the beat in. Pro plastic is just slightly more overstable than dx and has a bit less glide potential.
Star Teebirds – Are more durable and a bit more overstable but once they are broken in they will hold in that state for a longer period of time. I personally don’t like Star plastic but to each their own.
CE & Champion Teebirds – Are the most overstable and durable and will hold there out of the box flight characteristics for the longest period of time. I love the feel of CE plastic but it is very expensive and can be hard to find these days. Champion Glow plastic is even more overstable than regular champ.
The Teebird is one of the most if not the most popular disc in all of disc golf. It is very reliable as a straight distance driver with very little fade and great glide. Innova hit a home run with this disc and many other companies have tried to create a rival to the Teebird but as far as I know all have fallen short of this goal. If you have not tried a Teebird you owe it to yourself and the sport to do so.

Tee birds are great discs. They are controllable as well as capable of very long distances. It’s possible to carry a tb in enough different plastics and stages of wear to cover just about every tee shot you make. The flight path is just about the same across all plastics whether it’s champ, star, or older kc pro. The only exception is dx, which starts out a bit straighter. As they wear, they get straighter at the end of their flight. The more durable plastics will hold on to some of their fade for quite some time, but it is possible to beat in even a champion tee bird into a turnover disc. In my experience, you should be throwing about 275-300 feet to get the intended flight from this disc. At about 400ft of power, with decent form and no OAT, it should hold the line that you throw it on wether it be an annhyzer or hyzer or straight shot. You can always expect the same flight from this disc in most conditions, with out having to worry about it flipping or turning and burning. There are some discs out there that can cover more shots or get better movement throughout it’s flight, but if you’re throwing 300ft and are looking for a straight driver then there is no better disc to throw. It feels similar to a gazelle or eagle in hand, and is comfortable to throw. Learning to throw with this disc instead of a wide rim distance driver will yield better results in the long run. Hope this was helpful.

Probably the most versatile driver on the market. You can throw everything from low-line flat straight shots with predictable fade to power anhyzers out to 400′ on a distance line. I am a disc minimalist so I love that you can have several TBs in various stages of wear to do just about anything you could ever want them to. It’s a classic for a reason!

Teebirds are the greatest driver ever made. If accuracy and consistency count for anything than this one tops the charts. It’s a great first driver and a great forever and always in the bag disc as you progress. Teebs are resistant to turn unless you’re facing a big headwind. DX will hold annys right out of the box or straight to fade depending on how you throw them. Champ teebs are straight with fade and hold hyzer lines very nicely. I carry one of each so that I’ll have an arsenal of shots within the same mold. Work horse, and my most used driver. Don’t let the “fairway driver” stuff fool you, these discs can be as long as most any others out there.

The TeeBird is one of the best molds from Innova. I carry two in my bag, an Echo Star, and a Champion.
I like them because they do not have very much turn. They generally hold a hyzer without too much flip, and when released flat, they both will ride straight for 75% of the flight.
The difference between the Echo Star and the Champ are that the Echo Star will fade sooner than the Champ, and the echo star can be thrown harder. That being said I use the Champ on more approaches, and the Echo Star on more drives.
This disc is slow enough for a beginner in a headwind, and a great fairway driver for everyone.

Great disc for people of all skill levels. It starts out slightly overstable in DX and then beats into a straight flier for slower arms and a predictable understable driver for those with more power. The champion plastic starts overstable and then beats in slowly to anywhere from slightly overstable to a straight flier. Great disc to learn with and I will always have one in my bag!
