The Valkyrie currently holds the World Record at 820'. In lighter weights gives new players extra distance. Lighter weights also give players extreme range when thrown downwind, while maximum weights can give excellent upwind distance. The Valkyrie’s high speed turn and flight characteristics make it great choice for long range turnover shots and rollers. The Star Valkyrie is endorsed by World Record distance holder Christian Sandström.

Super straight hyzer flip disc with huge distance potential and easier control driver than some of the larger rimmed/higher speed discs. Feels a lot like a sidewinder in the hand and can make for a nice first disc for less experienced players who are developing good form while looking for consistent D. Love the 167g Star Valks specially once they get a little beat-in and just seem to stay in the air so long with enough speed but don’t have to throw your arm out to get it to go. Consistent runs and reliable small forward fade. Start with a DX and move your way up to the faster Champion plastic.

The Valkyrie is one of Innova’s most famous discs. It is a long distance driver with great glide. It’s stability is fairly balanced. The Average player should be able to turn it, but not so much as to make it unusable. Players who are new but getting more snap will find this disc a gem.

My Champion Val is my go to uphill & tail wind driver.
A player with average arm speed will want this disc in their bag. You will be able to get a good flex for max distance with this disc in a tailwind or throwing uphill.
This is one of the few drivers a new player should buy that will still be in their bag after a year.

One of Innova’s most popular drivers – and a very close relative to the Innova Viking. The Valkyrie is a very capable all-around driver that can do hyzer-flips, long straight shots, fairly big hyzers, and even turnovers. It’s significant High-Speed turn can cause it to be somewhat prone to ‘turning over’ at high velocity, but in general it likes to fade back at the end. A good all around driver that may be a bit too under-stable for some.
