Flight Rating

From the Manufacturer...

Core is a user friendly midrange that will be perfect for both amateurs and professional players. The flight is reliable and stable with very little fade in the end of the flight path. It has been very well received and mostly described as going as you throw it. Can be used to make both hyzer shots and long turnover drives.

  1. The best mid range ive thrown, doesnt need to be broke in like my rocs.Flies great from the get go.The opto will stay this way for a long time.I use it for tight wooded drives up to 300ft.Holds the line you put it on.It lands really straight with minimal fade to keep you in range for a putt. Can easily be thrown with full power without worries of losing control of it.Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it seems to be slightly geared more to players with good form,if you are a skiiled player it will be pin point acurate.

  2. First midrange to replace the BUZZZ. Holds a nice hyzer, beautiful long anhyzers and even solid flex/straight shots with good distance potential. Slightly more stable than a fuse and very similar to the heavier ~180g domey opto fuses. Glide is amazing and any disc Jesper Lundmark uses is a solid disc ;)

  3. Buzzz, Roc, now the Core. The Core is a do everything midrange. It is stable and will fly dead straight on 250+ drives from a slight hyzer. The core will hold upshot hyzer lines as well as anhyzer lines, but will need some power to hold the anhyzer lines.

The disc has a good amount of glide as it always fades forward when it slows down. The fade on this disc is minimal, which makes it great for pinpoint upshots and short drives up to 250 feet. You shouldn’t have any problem with the disc turning and burning, but it will show your form flaws when you do mess up.

The only drawback is the run consistency. There are some cores that have a small dome, huge pop top dome only in the middle of the disc, and ones that have a big gradual dome. All of these runs have slightly differing stability, but still close enough to get the job done. I personally have two different cores of differing runs in my bag, one that is stable and one that is slightly less stable.

Well-loved. Like or Dislike: Thumb up 5 Thumb down 1
