From the Manufacturer...

Trident is an overstable control driver good for windy days and those safe hyzer shots. It´s not the fastest driver out there but with excellent control and a reliable flightpath this is a disc that will earn a slot in many bags. With a good power drive it will turn at first but always hyzer back, reliable and controllable to sum it up.

  1. Reliable overstable fairway type driver with less glide and distance capability than other Lat. 64 discs. Excellent in the wind, slow enough to hold a long distance fast thrown anhyzer shot, easy to flex and get large skips. Great disc to fill the void between an XXX and Blitz. A lot like a slower firebird. Could be a good utility disc for less powerful players and solid OS driver for more experienced players. Not a meat-hook but you won’t flip this disc over.

  2. This disc is not your normal driver. It doesn’t go far, but it isn’t intented to go far. This is my #1 utility disc. I use this disc for backhand spike hyzers, upshot flex shots both BH and FH, tomahawks, thumbers, hard turns with both RHBH and LHBH, forehand rollers, and I even used it for an extreme hyzer putt.

The rim on this disc is thick. I don’t mean the grip, but I mean the outside edge. It almost seems like a driver with a midrange outside edge.

The opto line platic Tridents I have are more stable than the Gold Line one that I have. I have heard the more dome on the Trident, the more overstable.
