I bought this disc as my local disc store told me that he liked the Sword and said it flew like a seasoned Wraith. Since the ratings of the Boatman were the same as the Sword, but just a notch lower in speed, I thought I would try this.
It did fly similar to the new Wraith that I was comparing it to, however the Boatman would always lift up high about two-thirds through its flight, then spike down at the end. I was disappointed by this, as a low-ceiling shot would have brought this down too early. Someone with a backhand throw might find differently, but this characteristic is a little dicey since I could just throw a hyzer spike if I needed this result.
